Kelsi and Dylan 

Kelsi and Dylan were married in Valle Crucis. Their ceremony was in a historic 19th century church. The reception included a bluegrass band and apple theme including a fantastic cider.

Erna and Justin Wedding 

Erna and Justin were married at the Biltmore Estate at the front lawn. The reception was in front of the mansion in the courtyard.

Gwen Ford from Wedding Inspirations coordinated the wedding. Gwen's website is www.weddinginspirations.com It was an elaborate, elegant affair which turned out absolutely perfect. The Biltmore Estate's most beautiful setting is of course the mansion itself. It is surrounded by gardens and lawns, which is perfect for ceremonies and receptions.

Erna and Justin Rehearsal Dinner 

Erna and Justin had their rehearsal dinner at the horse stables at Biltmore Estate. It was a beautiful evening. The event set the done for the wedding the next day.

Amy and Jared 

Amy and Jared were married at the Grove Park Inn. It was a very extravagant wedding which was coordinated by Amy Moore from Its Your Day.
The ceremony took place on the veranda with the reception in the Grand Ballroom.

Grove Park Inn weddings provide an elegant setting for weddings. The veranda looks out onto the golfcourse and downtown Asheville in the distance.
Photography at the Grove Park Inn is exciting for me because of all the beautiful settings.

Amy and Jared came from Charlotte to get married. Once again proving Asheville as a destination wedding location.

Amber and Travor Wedding 

Amber and Travor were married in Asheville. The wedding was photographed by my associate photographer, Jon Welch. Jon has been shooting weddings with me over a year and has an extensive background in journalism.

This was one of several weddings Jon is shooting as an associate photographer for me this year.



I joined Jon for the rehearsal dinner the evening before. The theme was truly southern, a barbecue.

Emily and Michael 

Emily and Michael were married at Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate. It was a beautiful sunny day and we went throughout the estate to take pictures. The reception was on the patio of the Lioncrest with orderves served in the upstairs.

Biltmore weddings are always fun. The setting of the mansion and various gardens make it the top wedding location in Asheville. It is known as the destination wedding location of Asheville.

Lisa and Adam 

Lisa and Adam's wedding was at The Farm in Canton. The setting was complete with beautiful thoroughbred horses. The ceremony was outside next to the pasture in a wonderfully landscaped garden.

Chelsea and Sonny 

Chelsea and Sonny were married at the Central United Methodist in downtown Asheville. Their wedding was early in the wedding season, but may just end up being the most fun wedding of the year! The day was all about fun. All of Chelsea's bridesmaids were energetic and funny. The friends and family of these two were exciting to be around and really knew how to keep the party at the reception going.

Gwen Ford from Wedding Inspirations was the coordinator. Gwen is an excellent coordinator, the most professional and pleasant of people. Her website is www.weddinginspirations.com

Laura and Brad's Wedding 

Laura and Brad were married on April 1st, yes that is April Fool's Day. Their wedding was fun and Jon, my associate photographer, shot it with me. Laura and Brad were a laid back couple and the day's atmosphere was relaxing. We really felt part of the group, as the wedding was small and Laura and Brad and their family were so welcoming.

Their wedding was held at the bed and breakfast in Leicester. It was a beautiful spring day and there ceremony was held outside.

Alexis and Cameron were married on Dec. 28th at the Lake Lure Golf and Beach Resort. Their wedding ceremony took place in the chapel with the reception at the resort across the street.

Angela and Clint's Wedding 

The wedding of Amy and Clint was on a beautiful fall day. It was the first weekend of November and outside of the Church were still some beautiful colors.

Leigh and James Engagement Photos 

These were taken at the peak of the fall foliage and within a week, it was all gone. We headed up on the parkway to get these shots. It was a lot of fun, and because the leaves turned so late this year there weren't a lot of crowds.

Jennifer and Will 

Jennifer and Will were married in Waynesville. Their ceremony was at the Waynesville Methodist Church with the reception at the Laurel Ridge Country Club.

I spent time earlier in the week with Jennifer shooting her bridal portraits at Lake Junaluska. It is one of my favorite spots for shooting brides and engagements.

Lisa and Ray's wedding 

Lisa and Ray got married at The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Their wedding was a real family affair, with both Lisa and Ray's children playing important roles. The day was beautiful, with a wonderful fall breeze.

Emily from Wedding Inspirations did a fabulous job coordinating the event. The flowers, decor and food were all fabulous. Ray and Lisa both work in advertising and their wedding certainly had style and a great look from the dresses to the setting. The Biltmore Estate Lawn was the perfect setting for the ceremony. The wedding was directed by Emily from Wedding Inspirations.

Andrea and Rich Wedding 

Andrea and Rich got married in Morganton, NC. Andrea and Rich met while both attending Duke University. The wedding was at the Baptist church with the reception at the Golf and Country Club.

Rich and Andrea got to ride in a classic '57 Chevy. It's fun to see an alternative to the ubiquitous limo, and a '57 Chevy is my personal favorite classic car.

Krisite and Nathan's wedding 

Krisite and Nathan got married at Pretty Place. Located near Brevard, NC, Pretty Place offers the most breathtaking views. Nestled high on the edge of the ridge, it looks out onto the valley of SC.

The reception was held in Brevard, NC just down the road from Pretty Place. The location was the Golf and Country club, which happened to have this beautiful waterfall right next to one of the greens. You couldn't ask for a better backdrop. We took the short ride to the green from the clubhouse in the golf carts. I followed these two crazy drivers to the setting where we got this wonderful image.

Lori and John 

The Richmond Hill Inn was the tranquil setting for this wedding. The wedding had an intimate feel of close family and friends. Lori and John live in Charlotte, NC and chose Asheville as their wedding spot. The elegance of the setting is undeniable. Even the little bit of rain didn't dampen this wedding. Weddings at Richmond Hill Inn are great for an intimate setting.
